Welcome to the new Swiss Society of Molecular Pathology (SSMP) website. It is an honor and a pleasure to lead an organisation dedicated to transforming patient care through excellence in molecular diagnostics and precision medicine.
As molecular pathology rapidly evolves, our aims are: to promote innovation, to foster collaboration, and to maintain scientific and clinical excellence. In the short term, we prioritise our educational initiatives and the establishment and maintenance of robust guidelines that directly improve clinical practice. Over the long term, our ambition is to position Switzerland as a global leader in precision diagnostics, by integrating the best cutting-edge research into clinical workflows.
